History
Gladiator Nostalgia
“No one knows why the legendary and bloodthirsty Gladiator always wore this flower on his chest, which was his only weak point. »
An ordinary flower delicately plucked by the Gladiator's master.
He made a brooch with it, which he put on the fighter's chest. This was the kindest gesture of the teacher.
When the Gladiator was not yet a living legend, he once took a walk with his young master through a garden.
He plucked a flower and gave it to the slave tactiurn. "A gift is not always a reward. Sometimes it is done simply by letting yourself be carried away by the moment," the astute teacher said with a smile one day in the future.
The invincible Gladiator finally fell at the feet of an outsider.
In that moment, he remembered the dream he had many years ago.
"What beautiful flowers. I wonder when I can start my own journey."
"I would like to see how beautiful the wildflowers are."
Gladiator's Fate
A feather that dreams of having the freedom of_a hawk. At the end of the legendary career of the Gladiator, the indomitable bird put this feather in his heart. »
The end had come for the Victorious Gladiator.
The young contender paid him her last tribute.
When the vanity of victory and the desire for freedom dissipated into the air like morning mist, and when the light of dawn at last shone on the sand through layers of bloody clouds, the Gladiator saw a bird flying.
In a battle to be free, the Gladiator was defeated by an unknown girl. Screams and howls erupted like thunder from the crowd, but the victor refused to humiliate her opponent and execute him. Therefore, he did not plunge his sword into the throat of his adversary to end his life as if he were a slave.
The wounds were covered with invisible feathers. The Gladiator finally set out on a journey like a wild bird. And he flew to the place where flowers open free and birds take flight.
Gladiator's Hope
«A watch that bears witness to the bloody days of the Gladiator in the coliseor. For him, he counted the days he had left to be free. »
The Gladiator made this hourglass himself. He flipped it before every battle.
When the clock stopped ticking, the Gladiator had long been lying in a pool of blood.
Every time he fought, he put the hourglass aside.
When the dust of combat cleared and the crowd cheered, the sand from the clock continued to flow.
In his final fight, he faced a girl. In her eyes he saw the shyness of a girl and the ferocity of a young lioness.
Looking at his gait, the girl saw the heavy shackles of the passage of time that enchained the Gladiator.
It was a fight he hadn't had in years: fierce, but satisfying.
However, the match ended in an instant. The cold blade of the sword plunged into the Gladiator's heart, ceasing the flow of his hourglass.
Gladiator's Drunkenness
«The golden cup used by an ancient gladiator to drink the wine of victory. In it, infinite memorable memories accumulate. »
A luxurious chalice made of gold. It was a gift that the love of the Gladiator gave him as a reward.
From this chalice the victorious Gladiator drank, either wine or the blood of the vanquished.
After another of his victories, the Gladiator, covered in wounds, offered the honor of victory to his master. More intoxicating and numbing than good wine was the victory, the honor, and the applause of the crowd.
The master, who allowed him to sit next to him and drink with him, presented him with this chalice.
Delicate and made just for him, it represented the master's care and affection.
But the golden chains of vanity had imprisoned the Gladiator and the poisonous serpent of desire strangled him.
The champion stopped waiting for the wine of victory and lost the opportunity to regain his freedom.
Gladiator's Triumph
«A helmet that once belonged to a gladiator. Stained with the blood of countless enemies, it is appreciated by many people. »
A feathered Gladiator helmet.
For enthusiastic spectators, this helmet was the symbol of invincibility.
The legendary Gladiator had fought numerous battles. No one stood a chance at his sword, be it human or monster.
With each triumph, the Victorious Gladiator passed through the gates like a hero under the gaze of an excited crowd.
The slave could taste the feeling of being a master, but his vanity dyed the radiance of freedom black.
In that moment of triumph, the Gladiator finally glimpsed the world outside his cell. I was one step closer to freedom.
But neither he nor the crowd realized it was all a sham until his helmet fell onto the sand.
After all, he was still a mere slave. Not even offering his life could he please his master.
