    ~ Attribute text in game

    Appearance

Both brothers have bright blonde hair, although in the game, Aether's is a brighter shade. They have a slim complexion, golden yellow eyes, and fair skin. His skin is a light tan compared to the NPCs in Mondstadt. They adorn a contrasting color palette: Ether's color scheme is primarily black, gold, and white, while Lumina's is white and blue. The two are not identical and differ in their natural characteristics.

Ether wears a dark brown breastplate vest that reveals his abdomen along with a white scarf and a double-tailed cape with gold embroidery and decals. He wears a golden shoulder pad on his left shoulder and a tassel earring on his left ear. He wears dark brown pants, brown gloves, and black boots, and has slightly defined pecs not shown in his game model. Her hair is medium cut with a long braided ponytail, tied with a tasselled band.

Lumina wears a sleeveless white dress with a scarf and two layers of train. He also wears bracelets and gloves that cover only his thumb, with white stockings and boots. Her hair is cut into a bob with bangs, with shoulder-length straight twin tails, and is decorated with her favorite bluish-white flowers and feathers.

The Travelers have glittering pieces on their attire (the diamond on Ether's chest, her earring, her gloves, boots, and stickers on this cloak; the emblem on Lumina's abdomen, the diamonds on her cloak and stockings) that change from color according to the item. they are currently in tune. In the opening scene with the Unknown Goddess, both brothers had bright white clothes and yellow wings. Later, after the fight with the Unknown Goddess, the player's chosen Traveler will lose his white light. The glowing pieces of Aether and Lumina will turn black until they interact with the first Statue of The Seven they come across. The clothes will light up again, but this time they will turn an elemental color, as they are borrowing the power of an Archon. This lighting scheme would continue depending on the item the brother is currently borrowing:

    • Teal by the power Anemo of Barbatos.
    • Yellow for the Geo Power of Morax.
    • Purple by the Electro power of Beelzebul.

    Personality

The Traveler's personality is primarily determined by the player. His personality can vary between someone stoic and humble, someone self-assured and with a bad temper, or also someone caring with hints of sarcasm.

Despite this, there are cases of single-speech options or similar options that give an idea of your overall personality. For example, he does not believe that the gods are more worthy of undeserved respect than the mortal inhabitants of Teyvat. He is also deliberately disinterested in getting involved in the problems of each nation for no good reason. His response to Morax's "death" was initially simply to leave, both to avoid suspicion and seemingly a level of apathy considering the circumstances of his arrival in the world.

This trend continues in Inazuma, where the Traveler initially denies aid to the resistance and refuses to take sides, interested only in meeting with the Shogun Raiden. Yet despite this hesitancy to get involved, the Traveler is ultimately a compassionate person, and coming to understand the circumstances of each situation led them to reverse their initial positions.

    History

    Prologo - Mondstadt

Some time later, the main character, (referred to as "Traveler"), finally awakens in this new world with his powers sealed and losing the ability to travel to other worlds. After spending months wandering Teyvat, the Traveler saves a little girl from drowning in a lake. His name is Paimon, to show his gratitude, Paimon becomes his guide and traveling companion. She explains that this world has some protective gods who call themselves The Seven, and each one governs a region of Teyvat, so she suggests that the Seven should be contacted to help the Traveler find his / her lost brother / sister. /to. For that, Paimon shows the Traveler a Statue of The Seven, to give him an offering which gives the Traveler the elemental power of the Archon he represents, being the Archon Anemo, Barbatos. Upon acquiring the power of the Statue of Anemo, they see a green dragon heading towards a distant forest, while searching, the dragon and a stranger are seen talking, but a reaction from the new powers of the Traveler causes them to be detected. Both the dragon and the stranger flee the scene, leaving what appears to be a crystal gem with an abnormal aura surrounding it.

Once the Traveler and Paimon leave the forest, the outsiders are stopped by a girl named Amber, a scout and member of the Knights of Favonius, an order of warriors charged with keeping the peace in their lands. Amber offers to accompany them to Mondstadt, the City of Freedom, after she deals with a nearby Hilichurl camp, which the Traveler and Paimon assist. Impressed by their actions in the camp, Amber presents them with a wind glider. But after a test drive, the dragon that the Traveler and Paimon had previously sighted, nicknamed "Stormterror", begins to raze the entire city, unleashing multiple windstorms in the process, but thanks to the help of an unknown person ( which will later be discovered to be Venti), the Traveler is able to defend the city from the dragon's attack and manages to drive it away. After saving the city, the Traveler meets Jean, the Grand Master Quartermaster of the Knights of Favonius, Kaeya, the Cavalry Captain, and Lisa, the Librarian, and after that decides to join them to help stabilize the area after the attack. From the Stormeterror, Jean asks the traveler to control the Ley Line interruptions feeding the Stormterror from three of the Temples of the Four Winds, as prescribed by Lisa.

After the Traveler has dealt with the Temples, he returned to Mondstadt to report to Jean, who was found discussing the Stormterror with a masked figure, who suggests that they should kill the dragon, but Jean was skeptical. After the talk ended, Jean saw the Traveler and mentioned that he was in conversation with an agent of the Fatui, diplomats from Snezhnaya, and alleged allies helping Mondstadt with his dragon problem. Speaking of the dragon situation, the Traveler recalled the gem he found in the forest earlier, hoping that Favonius headquarters would find out, but the investigation (according to Lisa) was halted because the aura the gem emits damages users of Vision. The Traveler knew why, but is silent as Jean knighted the Traveler as Honorary Knight.

Paimon knew there was another presence when they found the gem, and unconsciously identified the boy running through the streets of Mondstadt as the same person. Following in his footsteps, the stranger sings the song "Stormterror", revealing that the dragon's name is Dvalin, and the reason for his rampage. The stranger is a bard known as Venti. The Traveler wants to talk about the dragon and the gem, but unknowingly ends up purifying it. Recognizing that the power of the Traveler purified Dvalin's tear. Venti hatches a plan after resting in Windbreak. There, Venti explained that he was in the forest and tried to purify Dvalin, but the last interrupted encounter forces him to rely on a certain element. Venti devises a plan to appease Dvalin's anger, which involves stealing the Holy Lyre and touching it to calm the dragon. However, when the Traveler enters the Cathedral of Mondstadt, a Magician of Cicin Electro is ahead of him and steals it, which shows that the Fatui are intervening in the affairs of Mondstadt. The Magician of the Fatui escapes without a trace, the guards only manage to see the Traveler, Paimon and Venti, and believing that they stole the Sacred Lyre, a chase begins, but thanks to Venti's wind currents, the group escapes to the tavern. The Gift of the Angel, where the owner suspects foul play, but decides to help him hide from the guards. The name of the owner of the tavern is Diluc, a warrior conglomerate forged from countless experiences on the battlefield, Diluc is not so friendly with the Knights of Favonius, since he considers them inept and incompetent in their work, so he wants to hear what What happened in the church on the part of the Traveler.

The following night, Diluc contacts Jean to explain the reason for the events of the Traveler and Venti, they want to use the Lyre to purify Dvalin, and for the plan to be successful, Diluc, by his own means, locates the Fatui lair in where the lyre was, and together with Jean, the Traveler and Venti they begin an unofficial expedition so as not to create a diplomatic war between Mondstadt and Snezhnaya, after a long fight the group manages to recover the lyre, and in turn they find some crystals of tear scattered over the region to feed it. When they manage to retrieve the lyre and repair it, Venti plays it in front of Dvalin. but during the meeting the group is ambushed by a Mage of the Order of the Abyss, an organization of monsters that wishes the extinction of humanity, the Mage of the Abyss ends up destroying the lyre and enraging the dragon with lies in the process. It is then revealed that Venti is Barbatos, Archon Anemo, who has returned after millennia to save the dragon and protect Mondstadt from tragedy and together with the Traveler, Diluc and Jean, they travel to the Lair of Stormterror, inevitably a fight with Dvalin. was going to happen, but when the group was about to die, Dvalin regained his reason, freeing himself from the influence of the Order of the Abyss. Dvalin was finally saved, regaining his sanity and love for humans, rescuing the heroes from the structural collapse of their lair, after returning the Traveler and the others to the city of Mondstandt, it is observed that Dvalin is flying only after he is assures you that no one is behind your life.

But while this was happening in the dragon's lair, hordes of monsters tried to invade Mondstadt, but thanks to the opportune strategies Amber and Lisa, the Knights of Favonius managed to prevent some major disaster from happening, but a bad omen haunts these events, Kaeya is He infiltrated the ranks of the enemies, managing to get more information, confirming that the Order of the Abyss was involved and that recently, a figure they recognize as their "Prince / Princess" is the one who is commanding them.

One day after meeting Dvalin, the Traveler, together with Venti and Jean, return the Sacred Lyre to the chambers that protect it, distressing Barbara, the Deaconess of the church, seeing the horrible state in which they want to deliver it, without However, the bard repairs it with his magic. At the exit of the Church of Favonius, the Traveler and Venti are ambushed by the Fatui and Signora appears, known as Number Eight of the Eleven Heralds of the Fatui, a rank occupied by people who can rival power. of the deities, proof of this is how Signora defeats Venti without great difficulty, taking with her her Gnosis, which is the essence of the Archon, on the orders of the Tsarina, leader of the Fatui and Archon Cryo. The Traveler can do nothing to stop Signora from escaping and he ends up being knocked unconscious. In order not to alarm the citizens of Mondstadt, Jean decides to keep this event a secret, always supporting unofficially in any event that it requires.

Barbara finds the Traveler and heals his wounds, and informs him that Venti is fine and that she wants to see him at the Rise of the Wind. The archon confesses that he does not know why he was attacked by the Fatui, but it may have to do with "Ascension", the ability to become a deity candidate, also known as "Genshin", which is a quality that all human use the elements in their favor can get has to obtain. Venti confesses to the Traveler that he knows nothing about his missing brother, but perhaps in the neighboring city, Liyue, Archon Geo, can give him a broader answer. The Traveler then decides to search for the remaining Six Archons to see if they can help him search for the mysterious goddess who kidnapped his brother.

    Capitulo I-Liyue

The Traveler and Paimon arrive Liyue, just in time to see the Rite of the Descent of Archon Geo, Rex Lapis, the rite is led by Ninguang, a member of the Seven Stars of Liyue, a group of merchants and business leaders who rule Liyue, but When the Rite of the Descent comes to the point where Rex Lapis descends into the mortal world to make his annual prophecies, the Archon is killed and the Traveler is suspected of being his murderer. The Traveler and Paimon escape, but are cornered by the guards, but a young man helps them escape, his name is Nobile, and he introduces himself as a member of the Eleven heralds, just like Signora, (specifically being Number Eleven), Still suspicious of the jovial young man after what happened in Mondstadt, they agree to help him on a strange mission. Nobile gives the Traveler a Seal of Permission for the Adeptus, guardian spirits of Liyue, and the beings closest to the gods, they do not accept visits from anyone, but with the seal that Nobile gave him, he was able to have an audience with them to inform them about what happened, stop being a suspect in the crime and get clues to find the culprit of the murder of Rex Lapis.

When the Traveler returns to the city of Liyue, Nobile gives him bad news, the Seven Stars of Liyue have canceled all funeral acts to dismiss their archon, enclosing the body of Rex Lapis in the Exuvia, a container made to protect his body. They do this because the killer is still on the loose, but they haven't put in much effort to find him either, as if the Seven Stars were hiding something. Knowing this, Nobile organizes a meeting between the Traveler and Zhongli, an advisor to the El Camino Funeral Home, to help him prepare the Rite of Ascent. Thus, the Traveler, Paimon and Zhongli have to get all the objects that, by tradition, are necessary for this last farewell with the archon. Paimon understands that someone like Zhongli goes to these lengths to carry out the funeral, but does not understand Nobile's motivation to finance the event, Zhongli confirms that despite not knowing the true intentions of the Fatui, they have never been able to slip away. to obtain some kind of control with the great authorities of Liyue, this because Ninguang always has eyes on them, for which he decides to look for alternative organizations to be able to move between the shadows.

Without much more chatter, the Traveler, Paimon and Zhongli go to get the objects to carry out the funeral, among these objects are a noctic jade, from Shitou's business, some flowers to make perfumes, from the business of Bolai, a bell that originally belonged to the archon, from Madam Ping (an Adeptus and friend of Rex Lapis), and some fireworks, from Grandma Shan's business, but apparently Zhongli forgot her money to pay for things , with which the Traveler and Paimon had no other option than to use the money that Nobile had previously given them to pay for everything, except for the bell.

They only need one incense, from the Bubu Pharmacy, however when they arrive at the store, they are greeted by little Qiqi, who to everyone's surprise, is a zombie revived by the Adeptus, she cannot sell them the incense without a prescription. , but he tells them that if they manage to bring him the Cococabra, a semi-illuminated beast that has never been seen, he will give them the incense, the only clue he gives the group is to go to the Guizhong Ballista, which is a monument of protection manufactured by the Adeptus for the well-being of Liyue, but when the group reaches the ballista, they realize that the Cococabra does not exist and they return to the Bubu Pharmacy to tell Qiqi, who has been disappointed. A few seconds later Baizhu, the head of the pharmacy, appears to find out what is happening, and once the situation is explained, Baizhu decides to sell the incense to the group but at the exorbitant price of 3 billion blackberries, leaving Zhongli Thoughtful and the Traveler and Paimon shocked, because it is impossible to get that amount of blackberries, but Nobile appears and begins to laugh at the uncomfortable situation they were going through, but since the group made him have a pleasant moment, he agrees to pay Baizhu the amount of blackberries.

Having obtained all the objects, it only remains to wait for the hour to begin the farewell to Rex Lapis, but before, in another unexpected twist, Zhongli has offered to invite the Traveler and Paimon to dinner, in gratitude for their work. During dinner, a stranger approaches. She introduces herself as Ganyu, emissary of the Seven Stars of Liyue and secretary of the Yuehai Pavilion. She is currently serving as Ninguang's special emissary, offering the Traveler a formal invitation letter to Ninguang's palace in heaven. Zhongli makes plans to meet the Traveler at Dihua Swamp after he has finished speaking with Ninguang in the Jade Chamber.

Having received an invitation from Ninguang to the Jade Chamber, the Traveler and Paimon seek a path there in the Tianheng Mountain Range. Unable to find anything, they travel to Guizhong Ballista, where they encounter Keching, Liyue's Seven Star Earth Balance. After talking to her about the Adeptus and their role in protecting Liyue, he gives her instructions on how to ascend to the Jade Chamber. Paimon becomes obsessed with finding a suitable greeting gift after Keching mentioned it, and the two go to prepare a gift. Having obtained the gift, the Traveler and Paimon ascend to the Jade Chamber, where they find Ninguang. She graciously accepts Paimon's gift and offers him one in return, before speaking at length on various topics, including deities, the Archons, and the Fatui. Following his advice, the Traveler and Paimon find evidence that the Fatui were investigating the Permission Seals, albeit for reasons as yet unknown.

Having done business with Ninguang, they meet Zhongli at Dihua Swamp to continue preparing for the Rite of Descent. While searching for wild glazed lilies, they meet Ganyu again and discover that she is one of the Adeptus, who has guarded Liyue Harbor since its inception 3 years ago. After hearing his thoughts on Rex Lapis' death, they return to Liyue Harbor, only to find it in chaos. The Adeptus and the Seven Stars of Liyue have finally clashed head-on, and at the same time, Ninguang has begun to crack down on the Fatui. Amid the chaos, Zhongli leaves to take care of things at El Camino Funeral Home. Realizing all the tension in the environment, the Traveler understands that the Fatui can take advantage of this to approach the remains of Rex Lapis and thus obtain his Gnosis, so he goes to the Golden House to make sure that The Gnosis is still there, however he is intercepted by Nobile, who has been observing all his steps and finally unmasking his true intentions, he starts a duel against the Traveler. During the battle, Noblie decides to activate his Deception, an extremely powerful object that surpasses the power of the Visions and that only the Eleven heralds of the Fatui have one in their hands. At the moment Nobile manages to approach the Exuvia and plunges his hand into his chest, but realizes that the Exuvia is empty. In the heat of the moment, Nobile believes that the Traveler took the Gnosis first, so he decides to activate the Legacy of Evil Transformation to try to force him to deliver it to him, after a long fight, the Traveler manages to defeat Nobile.

Nobile realizes his mistake and that Rex Lapis must be alive, switching to his backup plan, despite his disgust at the participation of innocent passers-by, Nobile releases the Permission Seals that the Fatui replicated to summon Osial, an ancient god that Rex Lapis had sealed beneath the Guyun Stone Forest. Faced with this new threat, the Adeptus and the Seven Stars of Liyue put aside their differences to fight against the common enemy. Meanwhile, Nobile has disappeared, waiting for Rex Lapis to show up, and instead dispatches Agents Fatui and skirmishers to attack the Guizhong Ballistas summoned to fight Osial. After an intense battle, the Traveler and the Seven Stars of Liyue manage to protect the ballistas, but even they are not enough to subdue the god. With no other options, Ninguang chooses to sacrifice his Jade Chamber, crushing the god under its weight.

With the threat defeated without the intervention of Rex Lapis, the Adeptus and the Seven Stars resolve their differences and the Rite of the Departure proceeds as planned. However, this still leaves a question: Where is Archon Geo? The Traveler searches for Zhongli and finds him at the Northern Kingdom Bank, speaking to none other than Signora and Nobile. He reveals himself to be not only Archon Geo, but also the one who instigated this entire series of events, beginning with his supposed assassination in the Rite of Descent. as a test to see if Liyue could continue without him. In exchange for an as yet unknown end goal, he forged the "contract to end all contracts" with the Tsarina and, once his test passed, gave her his Gnosis.

Sometime later, the Traveler attends the Rite of Departure, where they hear rumors about the battle against Osial, the involvement of the Fatui, and hear the official story of the Seven Stars of Liyue. After speaking with various assistants, the Traveler talks to Zhongli about Liyue's future. Zhongli, aware of the Traveler's plans, tells them that the next nation, Inazuma, has been shut down indefinitely on the orders of Archon Electro [[Baal]], also known as the Shogun Raiden. She has issued the Visions Capture Decree, a law that confiscates all visions in the country for unknown reasons. Zhongli believes that after faking her death, he will advance her plans even further, because he tells the Traveler and Paimon that although the nation may be closed for the moment, they should not give up and try to find a way to enter.

    Chapter I - Prelude

Some time after the events in Liyue, the Traveler and Paimon return to Mondstadt to continue their work while they wait for access to Inazuma to reopen. But before continuing with his work, the Traveler will speak with Katheryne, the receptionist of the Adventurer's Guild of Mondstadt, about whether it is possible to recruit new companions for their trips, in which Katheryne tells the Traveler and Paimon about a strange person who arrived in Mondstadt recently, he described himself as a tall guy with an eye patch, blonde hair and an uncommon outfit. The Traveler believes that it may be a relative of Kaeya, but Katheryne tells him that the stranger rejected the invitation to the guild, so it is not known if there is a relationship between him and Kaeya, she tells the Traveler that if he is interested, look for him Perhaps he is willing to accept your proposal and could help you a lot in your travels, to find out where the receptionist tells them to go with Lawrence, he stands guard at the entrance of the city, he could know something about the stranger.

The Traveler and Paimon talk with Lawrence about the stranger, he gives them the same description as Katheryne, he tells them that the stranger had a strange behavior, since at first he was prowling all over the city, as it seemed strange to him, he began to monitor him, but he lost sight of it for a few seconds, even if, he didn't think it was something so important to say to Master Jean and that maybe he is just a visitor. Lawrence heard that the stranger was in Wagner's smithy, and tells the Traveler that he should go ask him, maybe he has more information about him. The duo go to the smithy and talk to Wagner about the stranger with the eye patch, he tells them that if he remembers it, since he came to the smithy a few days ago and wanted to buy some forging materials. But Wagner had never heard of the materials I mention, the stranger looked a little more at the weapons in his store and left, Wagner has heard that the stranger sometimes goes to drink at the El Obsequio del Ángel tavern. He tells the Traveler that if he wants to find it, this is the perfect place.

The duo arrive at the tavern, Paimon asks Charles if he has seen a blond stranger with an eye patch, the bartender tells them that yes, he comes every night to drink, Charles says that he is a man with very good taste in selection of drinks and techniques in cocktails, by Diluc's own words, which indicates that he was the first to investigate the stranger. Charles mentions that the stranger, yesterday asked for a bottle of new wine in advance, so he will come to the tavern today, he tells the Traveler and Paimon to wait for him upstairs, so that when he arrives they can talk to him. After a few minutes, the stranger arrives for his bottle of wine, the Traveler comes down to speak with him, introduces himself as a member of the Adventurer's Guild and as the honorary Knight, but the stranger does not flinch, until the Traveler introduces himself. Likewise as a traveler, at that moment the stranger asks why is he traveling? and he answers that it is to find his brother / sister, in the end the stranger tells him that it is a good reason and offers him a seat, he asks for Paimon, the Traveler tells him that she is his best companion, and he mentions that it is always good to have company on trips.

The stranger finally shows up, his name is Dainsleif, he asks if he is looking for something, the Traveler tells him that he is recruiting adventure companions, and Dainsleif accepts without hesitation, the Traveler and Paimon are surprised, but he says that they have to pay him in advance, the payment is 500 Blackberry and three questions, this gives Paimon a bad feeling. The Traveler pays him the 500 Blackberries and answers the three questions, Dainsleif tells him not to worry if he answers wrong, since there are no good or bad answers, they will only make their position clear. The two questions that Dainsleif asks the Traveler are about who were the ones who protected Mondstadt and Liyue, (it also seems that Dainsleif already knows what Venti's identity is, something that only the Traveler, Paimon, Diluc and Jean know) and the last The question is about who is more important in the eyes of the gods, if those who have a Vision and those who do not. (Depending on the player's answer to the questions, Dainsleif will mention that the Traveler is the same as someone, or he will also say that the Traveler is very different from the person he mentions.) Once the questions have been answered, Dainsleif accept the commission from the Traveler, but only if it is something related to the Order of the Abyss.

He is on a journey to confront the order, mentioning that the creatures that serve the Abyss are only the weapons with which the order spreads chaos in the world. Dainsleif explains that he came to Mondstadt because he is following the tracks of an Emissary of the Abyss, a creature that is part of the Order of the Abyss and that is capable of manipulating intense nether energy. This creature commands the Abyss Wizards and is even a more devious being than they are. Hearing this, the Traveler realizes that since the Dvalin incident, he has not faced the Abyss Wizards again, and the only enemies he has faced are the Fatui. Dainsleif believes that the Wizards were following orders for the Traveler to deviate from his path, perhaps to find an opportunity to ambush him. According to the clues that Dainsleif obtained, the Order of the Abyss has once again infiltrated the Temple of the Falcon, so the group decides to go to the location, to find answers about the Abyss.

The Traveler, Paimon and Dainsleif enter the Temple of the Falcon, Dainsleif feels that the smell of the Emissary is stronger, so it is not that far. But there were only Abyss Wizards, it seems the Emissary left before the group arrived. The Traveler asks Dainsleif about the Order of the Abyss, and he mentions that they are a cluster of madness that corrupts the inhabitants of this world, that is why not even the Dragon of the East, the servant of a deity, could resist their corrosive powers, it also seems that they also want to overthrow the world ruled by the Archons, it seems that Dainsleif and the Abyss have already had several encounters in the past. Dainsleif mentions that seeing the clues they have been following, it seems that their next destination will be the Kingdom of the Wolves, where it is the territory of Andrius, a member of the Four Winds, so the group heads to the Kingdom to find the Emissary.

The group arrives at the Kingdom, when they arrive it seems that Dainsleif mentions Andrius as if he had already met him, but in reality he does not know him, he only knows something about him because a person accompanied him on his travels, since he wanted to hear the story of the King of the Wolves. The group notices that there are three bonfires in the area, but this bonfire has symbols above the flames, Dainsleif says it is an incantation from the Abyss, which indicates that the Order was there. After inspecting the place the group gathers the clues from the bonfires, but it turns out that the Magi were the ones who put the enchantment, it seems that even the Emissary of the Abyss does not want to mess with Andrius, since he did not even appear. Dainsleif advises that they should leave the Kingdom of the Wolves, as Andrius has a territorial nature and can be aggressive towards anyone outside the Kingdom. Paimon becomes discouraged because they ran out of clues and asks if they are going to give up on finding the Emissary, and Dainsleif mentions that they are not, as there is another location they can go to, and that would be the Stormterror's Lair.

The group arrive at the Lair, Dainsleif mentions that these ruins had no relationship with the dragon for a long time, he says that the first time he saw the ruins of old Mondstadt, the eastern Dragon had not yet been corrupted, much less had nested there. Paimon says that the first incident Dvalin had happened centuries ago, but they don't pay much attention to his words. Dainsleif mentions that if the Order were interested in this place, they would not ignore the light triggers that seal the ruins, for which the group decides to review the condition in which the triggers are.

Despite finding a group of monsters near the actuators, nothing unusual was found in them and not a trace of the Emissary of the Abyss. The Traveler and Paimon are discouraged that they could not find him, but Dainsleif is sure they will meet him sooner or later. The Traveler mentions that Dainsleif has a lot of experience with travel, and this responds that it is just the experience of traveling with that person that he has mentioned all the time. Paimon asks where his traveling companion is now, and Dainsleif says that he / she no longer travels, then Paimon asks why he is still traveling alone, and Dainsleif replies that he still has some business to finish, and that when he is done he will return home to rest. Paimon tells the Traveler that once they find their brother / sister they should look for a place to settle. Dainsleif also supports that idea and hopes that they will find a good place to settle for good.

At that moment the Traveler notices something and looks strangely at a cliff, and says that something was familiar to him when he saw it. He thinks it may be the Order of the Abyss, so the group heads upstairs to investigate what's there. The Traveler perceives that sensation and believes that it is close, but there does not seem to be anyone there. Dainsleif doesn't see anything strange, mentioning that he doesn't look any different from the last time he was here with his partner. Dainsleif notices that in the ground there are some tracks of a Guardian of the Ruins, and in one of them there is a dandelion that was stepped on. The Traveler touches the dandelion, and at that moment he remembers how he was separated from his brother / sister by the unknown Goddess. The Traveler says that he could feel his brother / a, Paimon is surprised by that, since he only touched him for a moment. Dainsleif believes that this dandelion carries with it an essence that only the Traveler can perceive, and thinks that its origin has something to do with it. Dainsleif advises him to be calm, since at least he knows that his brother is still in Teyvat, and tells him that for now, the important thing is the trip to find him. The Traveler calms down and more firmly than before he proposes to look for his brother / sister. Dainsleif wishes him luck to succeed and tells the Traveler and Paimon that they are going their own way here, but only for now, as they will see each other again. After all, he received the 500 Blackberries and the three answers that the Traveler gave him.

    Chapter I - Travel

The Traveler and Paimon travel to the Liyue Adventurer's Guild to see what new assignments they can carry out, when they arrive at the notice board they hear from Ganyu and Liyue's Guild Master, Lan, that two leaders of the Treasure Thieves of Mondstadt and Liyue are preparing a joint operation, these leaders are nicknamed "Sister of the South" and "Bird of Prey of the North", and by information from the Ministry of Civil Affairs they have joined their crew to attack some ruins guarded by the Order of the Abyss, with intending to steal some treasures. The Treasure Thieves will attempt to distract most of the Abyss's forces while the Master Thief, a Fontaine criminal, infiltrates and steals as much treasure as possible. Ganyu mentions that the Geoarmada is very busy and does not have time to investigate rumors about the Thieves' operations, for that reason he came to the Adventurer's Guild, furthermore he believes that any matter having to do with the Abyss could bring a hidden threat. Worried about the damage the Thieves can cause, the Traveler and Paimon accept the assignment and head to the ruins.

The duo find the ruins and enter. After defeating some enemies of the Abyss, they reach the main room and find the Master Thief in the room, but he is kneeling, as if he is praying. Suddenly, they realize that there is a Statue of The Seven hanging on the ceiling. It appears that the statue is holding an abysmal energy sphere instead of its original orb, but the most terrifying is that the Master Thief was already dead when they arrived. The Traveler and Paimon are terrified of what is happening and the place begins to shake, so they both decide to escape and go to inform Ganyu and Lan.

However, just before reaching the exit, a creature intercepts them, and it is neither more nor less than the Emissary of the Abyss. The same one Dainsleif was looking for. The Emissary thought that the Traveler and Paimon entered the ruins by mistake, but discovers that they are involved with Dainsleif, and since they both saw the secrets of the Abyss, he decides to kill them at once so that no one knows what they saw. During the battle the Emissary is very familiar with the power of the Traveler and realizes who he really is, so the Emissary creates a portal and escapes. The Traveler realizes that somehow the Emissary already knows him, and after leaving the ruins the duo meet again with Dainsleif.

Dainsleif arrived at the ruins since he was following the trail of the Emissary of the Abyss and did not expect to meet the duo, it is then that the Traveler explains how he and Paimon arrived at the ruins, and tells him about the inverted statue, the dead thief and his encounter with the Emissary. Dainsleif is astonished by what the Traveler said, since in his time fighting against the Abyss there was never such a thing. Dainsleif believes that the Emissary cannot be that far away, so the Traveler and Paimon accompany him on his trail. The group reaches where the trail ends, but they were only Magicians of the Abyss, after defeating them the group realizes that the Magicians were looking for something among the remains of some Guardians of the Ruins that were nearby. Dainsleif believes that they were looking for more than just the components of the Guardians, something very valuable to take to the ruins where the statue is located, and that this could be crucial for the entire Order of the Abyss.

The group follows a trail of the Order, which leads them with some Ruin Guardians and Abyss Wizards prowling the area, after defeating them all, Paimon thinks it may be a coincidence that the Guardians are hovering near the hideouts of the Magicians But Dainsleif replies that there are no coincidences, and it is that the relationship between the Guardians and the Order is not at all accidental, since they are branches of the same tree. Paimon asks him what he means by which they are branches of the same tree, and Dainslief explains that they are that because they both originated in Khaenri'ah, an ancient kingdom that was destroyed five hundred years ago. Paimon is surprised as he did not know that they were both survivors of the destruction of Khaenri'ah, and as the Traveler's guide, Paimon was going to explain to him about the kingdom. But the Traveler already knows his name, and mentions that he has memories of being there. Paimon is confused since that kingdom was destroyed five hundred years ago, it is impossible that she can have memories of having been in Khaenri'ah. Dainsleif says that we all have secrets, and if he doesn't want to tell them that's fine, but he tells her that if he wants to tell them, he will listen to him. It is then that the Traveler takes the risk and tells Dainsleif about the Khaenri'ah he remembers, the sea of fire he saw five hundred years ago and the deity he encountered.

The Traveler's first memory of when he arrived in Teyvat, is that of his brother / sister waking him up in the meteorite. he / she told him that the destruction of Khaenri'ah had led this world to its destruction and that they had to leave, but they encountered the unknown deity who blocked their way so that they did not escape and ended up separating them. Dainsleif says that the destruction they witnessed was five hundred years ago, which shows that the Traveler awakened in this world for the first time at that time, and that his / her sibling must know this world better than the Traveler, since he / she woke up. first. Dainsleif mentions that when the Traveler woke up and immediately tried to leave this world with his brother / sister, he did not know anything about Khaenri'ah. But now that you have a little more knowledge about Teyvat, you can realize that the war that you witnessed five hundred years ago must be the one that ended with Khaenri'ah. Paimon mentions that during the time that she and the Traveler have been in Mondstadt and Liyue, he collected a lot of old books, but always told Paimon that they were just useless books. Now he realizes that the Traveler was looking for information about Khaenri'ah to find his brother / sister. The Traveler answers yes, and that this is his second most important clue in addition to searching for Los Siete, although the only information he has is his name. Paimon understands the objective of the Traveler, since to find the Seven he only has to travel through the seven nations, but he tells him that it is impossible to find a kingdom that was destroyed five hundred years ago.

It is then that Dainsleif explains that Khaenri'ah was a godless kingdom. Not because their god died or because he abandoned them, but because he never had one in the first place. It was simply a formidable realm built by mortals that flourished at a very advanced rate. Their prosperous and glorious civilization was the pride of mankind. but then what happened that the Traveler remembers five hundred years ago, and that is that the gods descended to destroy Khaenri'ah, and the supposed pride of humanity was plucked like a weed from the garden of the gods. Paimon is surprised by what Dainsleif said, since in the history books that the Traveler read, nothing of that is mentioned, furthermore the Traveler silently wonders whether Venti or Zhongli knew about this. Dainsleif says that it is better not to talk about it anymore, and that it is better to continue with the search.

The group finds another trace of the Order of the Abyss, which leads them to Abyss Wizards and Guardians of the Ruins. Paimon asks Dainsleif if Khaenri'ah created the Guardians because he had so many ruins to protect. But he answers that no, he also explains that "Guardians of the Ruins" is the name they gave to the machines in the present time, and that five hundred years ago nobody called them that. The people of Khaenri'ah knew them as "Labradors" and not as "Guardians of the Ruins", and not because they were cultivation tools, since it was actually a code, and the people of Khaenri'ah gave them names in code to their weapons. After the destruction of Khaenri'ah they wandered aimlessly and spread throughout Teyvat, lying dormant in all manner of ruins, as they echo the suffering of other civilizations who shared the same fate.

After defeating all the enemies, the group find a talisman with an incompressible message left by a Wizard of the Abyss, Dainsleif begins to translate the message of the talisman, and reveals the Loom of Destiny, the name of the operation that The Order of the Abyss has. been planning. Dainsleif says that the first phase of the operation is related to Osial, the ancient god that the Traveler had fought along with the Seven Stars of Liyue and the Adeptus some time ago. The Traveler and Paimon believe that the Order wants to control the ancient god for their benefit as they did with Dvalin. But Dainsleif answers them that no, because this operation will take her very far, and that is that the Order of the Abyss plans to use the technology of the Labradors to modify the body of Osial, and that they will use the desecrated statue as a base to adhere to it. Osial's limbs to build a mechanized god. And that the new core that will replace the orb normally held by the Statues of The Seven is the eye of the first Field Labrador instead of the orb normally held by the Statues of the Seven, to build a mechanized god, for that to happen, Dainsleif mentions that the eye must be placed in the hands of the statue, so that the newborn god is imbued with the power to bring down the divine thrones of Celestia.

Paimon says that no one knows where the first laborer may be and thinks they should take the information they have about the statue as a starting point. It is then that the Traveler realizes that the inverted statue is a statue of Barbatos, and says that they should go to Mondstadt to get more information. Paimon responds that it is very difficult to find Venti, but perhaps in the cathedral of the church they can get information. Finally, the group arrives at the Mondstadt Cathedral to ask the sisters about the desecrated statue, but Dainsleif tells them that they better go alone, since the Traveler is the Honorary Knight and the sisters trust him without any problem, he also mentions that if he accompanies him, he might say something the sisters don't like about the church, and that is that the gods have never favored him in the past. He also warns the Traveler and Paimon not to mention anything about the inverted statue, fearing that the recklessness of the Knights of Favonius in claiming the lost statue, causing them to alert the Order.

Once they enter the cathedral, the Traveler talks to Barbara, who still does not realize that the Sacred Lyre is an illusion. Paimon asks if she knows anything about the first Labrador, but Barbara doesn't know what it is. It is then that Paimon asks him if he knows something about a lost Statue of The Seven, and Barbara answers that he does, since it is an incident that was recorded in the cathedral. He tells them that there was a statue in the past that one day disappeared without a trace, almost all the members of the church participated in its search, but they never entered it. Barbara also tells them that a long time ago, when people tried to venture near the old Mondstadt, fireballs fell from the sky and took everyone away, people at that time believed that it was a curse imposed by Decarabian, the former Archon Anemo and God of Storms, so they called this event as the fury of the tyrant. This continued for a year and no one could solve it, so the strange event diminished until it disappeared. Although Barbara believes that it could have been something else that caused the fireballs, she says that there is no relationship to this event and the lost statue.

Suddenly, they are interrupted by Rosaria, who tells the Traveler that if he is looking for the Knights of Favonius, he is wasting his time, since they along with Jean went to the Kingdom of the Wolves, since the Order of the Abyss is attacking him. Rosaria believes that the Order of the Abyss has Andrius's spirit in their sights, but she doesn't know why. As they leave, the Traveler and Paimon inform Dainsleif of everything that Barbara told them. Paimon believes that the Order of the Abyss is going to do the same things to Andrius as they did to Dvalin. But Dainsleif answers him no, since unlike Osial, who was contained, Andrius died a long time ago and his spirit only protects the Kingdom of the Wolves and they also leave. And he believes the Order is targeting him because he may be trying to obtain useful information from Barbatos's former companions. It is then that the group heads to the Kingdom of the Wolves, and once again, Dainsleif does not go with them, for the same reason as before, but also because he does not like that Andrius has sided with The Seven. However, he advises the Traveler not to trust the gods too much, but also not to go openly against them. It also reveals that the Order of the Abyss is trying to destroy the seven nations of Teyvat due to the role of the gods in destroying Khaenri'ah. Shortly after parting ways, the Traveler meets Jean, who has sent the Knights to repel the Order of the Abyss. The Traveler and Paimon convince Jean to let them go with Andrius to make sure he is okay, since they had met before.

Upon reaching the place, they find Andrius with Razor, but not only are they, there is also the Emissary of the Abyss, who tries to corrupt Andrius with the same ritual used to corrupt Dvalin. The Traveler and Razor manage to repel the Emissary and stop the ritual, which was slower than expected due to the resistance of Boreas. The Emissary says that it does not matter that the ritual has been interrupted, since it is only a small unforeseen event that will not affect the Order's plan, and at that moment he creates a portal and escapes again. Razor thanks the Traveler and Paimon for their timely arrival and asks if they are passing through the Kingdom of Wolves. Paimon answers them no, since she and the Traveler heard something dangerous was going to happen and they came to help, and also to find out something. It is then that Paimon asks Andrius if he knows anything about the first Labrador. Andrius replies that he shows no interest in human inventions, but tells them that there was a human machine that he would never forget. This machine broke into its testing ground, being able to turn, jump very high and launch fireballs, although its power could not be compared to that of a god, and then Andrius severely damaged it, since he believed it to be a challenger. But before he could fall, he managed to get out of the proving ground. The Traveler and Paimon thank Andrius and Razor for the information and leave; while Andrius and Razor remain in the Kingdom of the Wolves to defend it from the Order of the Abyss.

Returning to Dainsleif once more, the Traveler and Paimon inform him of what Andrius told them. conclude that the tyrant's fury was actually a shower of missiles that the Labrador fired while fleeing the Kingdom of Wolves, and after being damaged by Andrius, he wandered until arriving and staying in the ruins of ancient Mondstadt. , what is now known as the Stormterror's Lair. So every time someone approached he would shoot it, until finally it stopped working and there were no more fireballs. Dainsleif says that they will have to inspect the area to find the Labrador, but Paimon tells him that it will not be necessary, since at the top of the lair tower there is a Labrador right there. Upon arrival, The Traveler uses his Elemental Vision with Labrador to see if he can find the eye, but nothing happens. Dainsleif tells him that the Elemental Vision does not work with the Labradors because its non-elemental power, it is then that he uses his own method that allows the eye to appear. Dainsleif decides to take care of the eye himself, and to avoid further repercussions he says that they have to destroy the desecrated statue and that if they are lucky it is that the Emissary of the Abyss appears.

The group returns to the ruins and reaches the statue. Dainsleif feels the atmosphere very heavy, and tells the Traveler and Paimon to be careful, because each time he feels closer to the Emissary. But suddenly the Emissary appears behind them, and tells Dainsleif that they are both equally dangerous, and that dangers that do not belong to the Order of the Abyss must be confined, and then the battle begins. During the battle, the Emissary realizes that the Traveler and Dainsleif are too strong and tries to flee through another portal, but Dainsleif stops him and uses magic to restrain him. However, he is stopped by a shock wave from someone's sword. When the smoke clears, the Traveler is surprised because the person who interrupted the attack is none other than his / her brother / sister, whom the Emissary refers to as prince / princess. The sibling asks the Traveler why he is with Dainsleif; surprisingly, Dainsleif already knows him / her too. It is then that the brother / sister reveals that Dainsleif is the Twilight Swordsman, one of the royal guards of the last Khaenri'ah dynasty, and five hundred years ago he could not prevent its destruction, being placed under a curse of immortality and forced to see his people turn into monsters, and is that in reality the Order of the Abyss is not related to Khaenri'ah, but the creatures of the Order were or still are the inhabitants of Khaenri'ah.

The Traveler insists with his sibling that they go home together, but the sibling refuses because he has to fulfill the objective of the Order of the Abyss, or his war with destiny will not end. It tells him that he will see the truth about the world when his journey is over. The Emissary conjures up a portal and the brother / sister leaves with him. The Traveler desperately tries to chase his sibling. Dainsleif runs past the Traveler and enters the portal, while the Traveler loses it and stays in the ruins. While trying not to get depressed by what happened, the Traveler realizes that he has useful information about the Order of the Abyss and its objective, he also realizes that Dainsleif, along with The Seven, is someone who is key to finding his brother / sister by what you have to be prepared when you get to Inazuma. Once the Traveler and Paimon relate the events that happened so far, Paimon tells the Traveler to show his brother what he is made of and his determination to travel through Teyvat to discover the truth.

    Chapter II - Inazuma

As he gazes at Liyue Harbor, the Traveler takes a moment to stop and think about the recent revelations about his brother / sister and the Order of the Abyss. Paimon comforts him and encourages him to move on, and the Traveler regains his determination to seek and confront the unknown Goddess and demand answers. The duo tries to think of ways to get to Inazuma, when they remember the only person who is originally from the nation, and that is Atsuko, an immigrant from Inazuma who fled and now lives in Liyue. They both go to the port of Liyue to meet Atsuko and try to ask him how to get into Inazuma. While it can give them an answer, it also warns them of the danger of the journey. She explains that the storm is not the only thing to worry about, as they will also have to worry about the strict isolationist policies and the authorities that will follow their trail if they are discovered. When the Traveler refuses to be carried away by their warnings, he relents and recommends that they go to Beidou, the captain of the Crux Meridianam Fleet, as she is the one who may know how to withstand the storm due to her vast experience in the seas. Wasting no time, the Traveler and Paimon head to the Guyun Stone Forest, where the Alcor, the flagship of the fleet, is anchored.

Upon reaching the ship, they find Beidou with an unknown young man. Beidou recognizes the Traveler, having heard of Ninguang's exploits, and introduces the young man as Kaedehara Kazuha, a temporary member of the crew. She mistakenly assumes that the Traveler has approached her to join the "Crux Tournament", a visionless martial arts event she organizes for renowned fighters. When Paimon explains that they are not there for the tournament, Beidou tries to encourage them to join anyway and reveals that the prize for this tournament is a Carrierless Vision provided by Kazuha, who hopes that the winner of the tournament can return to. wake her up. However, the Traveler is not interested in the Vision and only seeks a way to get to Inazuma. Hearing that, Beidou changes the subject and decides to change the prize: if the Traveler wins the tournament, they will be able to choose between two prizes, the Vision without a carrier or a trip to Inazuma in the Alcor. The Traveler finally accepts and heads to the arena to sign up. After talking to a few other contestants, the duo realize that they won't have much competition. With renewed confidence, they head to the desk and both the tournament recorder and the competitors and spectators are surprised to see that the Traveler who helped Liyue fight Osial joined the tournament. After proving that he doesn't have a Vision and formally listing some of his accomplishments thus far, the Traveler is finally registered and ready to fight in the Crux Tournament.

During the Traveler's first match, Beidou and Kazuha are impressed with her abilities, and claim that since she signed up, more people are joining in, hoping to face her. Beidou decides to take him straight to the semifinals so that he doesn't need to expend his energy on fights well below his skill level. The Traveler's second match was a bit more difficult, but he was victorious in the end. His opponent is unable to tell him much about his next opponent, only that he is someone fast and agile, so the Traveler and Paimon decide to ask the competitors. Unfortunately, they don't learn much and decide to go to Beidou to find out more. Beidou only reiterates his opponent's speed, but Kazuha offers to give them more information if they follow him to a quieter place to talk.

Once there, Kazuha reveals that he already knows the Traveler's ability to harness the power of the elements without a Vision. Since the Traveler cannot answer their questions about how he can do it, he instead tests their skills by having them fight some Slimes. After the fight, Kazuha assures them that their opponent's speed won't stand a chance against their ability, and gives them more advice on their opponent's fighting style. He also tells them why he is so interested in the Visions, and it is that he wants to know what they mean to the Archons and what they are based on to grant them to people. The Traveler wants to know more about the subject, and Kazuha explains that it is possible that each of The Seven has their criteria for granting Visions, but for some reason the Electro Archon began to doubt those criteria, starting by taking their visions from their bearers. thanks to the Hunting and Hunting Decree. Kazuha says that she longs for "Eternity" and that perhaps that is why she began to confiscate the visions, but she does not understand how it can benefit her in passing a dictatorship to both the citizens of Inazuma and the bearers.

After talking about the visions, the Traveler, Paimon, and Kazuha return to the arena to await the final round. In the arena, the final round is about to begin, but the challenger does not show up, causing Beidou to become irritated. Kazuha senses that something is wrong and the group checks the box where the Sight is without a carrier, discovering that the Sight is missing. Kazuha offers to search for both the prize and the thief, as it was his responsibility. the Traveler and Paimon accompany him, and after a while they discover who the culprit is. The culprit is Fei the Southyscraper, a Treasure Thief, who is shocked that they managed to track him down. He reveals that he entered the tournament and that he intended to win fairly, but after watching the Traveler defeat the contestants, he knew he had no chance of beating him. Initially refusing to surrender the Vision, he fights the group, only to be outmatched. Kazuha threatens to kill Fei, but after nothing happens, he changes his mind and lets the Treasure Thief leave, taking away his Vision.

Kazuha reveals that he had been aware of the theft the entire time and hoped that Fei would have been able to resonate with the Vision, as the gods generally bestow them on those who demonstrate great strength and endurance. She then asks the Traveler to do it, but he can't either, so Kaedehara Kazuha continues to hold her. Paimon asks why he is so obsessed with that Vision, and Kaedehara Kazuha reveals that when the Shogun Raiden enacted the Visions Seek and Hunt Decree, her friend, another Vision bearer, challenged her, only to die in the duel that followed. Kaedehara Kazuha, who had just arrived and witnessed the final moments of the duel, seized the Vision and fled from his pursuers, hoping to keep his friend's hope alive. He had heard rumors of carrierless visions reawakening on his travels and as such was looking for someone to do so.

Upon returning to the arena, the group learns that Beidou was summoned by Ninguang regarding the tournament, so I had to leave. By default, Fei is disqualified and the Traveler is crowned champion of the Crux Tournament, thus he will be able to travel to Inazuma. Kazuha warns the Traveler and Paimon that the journey will be treacherous, even more so once they set foot in the closed nation. He also tells them that the Alcor needs to stock up for the trip and that they will be notified once they are ready; Meanwhile, he intends to travel through Liyue to see if anyone can reawaken the Vision, in the hope that the two of them will enjoy their travels.

After talking to Katheryne about Inazuma, a sailor sent by Beidou tells the Traveler and Paimon that the Alcor is ready to sail. Katheryne says goodbye, but tells them that she will be waiting for them in the next nation. The Traveler and Paimon arrive at the Alcor where Beidou, Kazuha and all the crew were, and after having passed through the storm of the sea, the Alcor arrived at Inazuma. Beidou disembarks with the Traveler and Paimon at Ritou, being greeted by Thoma, a business associate of the Captain. Beidou leaves the duo in his care, since she cannot stay there long with Kazuha, since he is still a wanted fugitive. Thoma then helps them get through the processing center to avoid suspicion of the impossible request and the ridiculous amount of Mora.

After processing, Thoma explains to them that there are some inspectors who try to increase the price of processing as much as possible for outsiders, who cannot leave the nation due to the Sakoku Decree. As such, foreigners formed the International Chamber of Commerce to survive. He also learns that they intend to meet with the Shogun Raiden, stating that he can help them do so, but in turn, they must first help others, beginning with said association. Thoma's friend and President of Commerce, Kurisu, is surprised to see new outsiders and explains that ever since he and the foreigners have been trapped in the port, the Kanjou Commission has been bleeding them with absurd taxes. Originally they had to pay them with Mora, but they suddenly switched it to Crystallized Marrow, which hardly anyone in the Chamber had ever heard of. Worse yet, their attempts to search for her cause the item to skyrocket in both taxes and price from the only available source, leaving them in danger of homelessness. The Traveler offers to help, and Kurisu accepts, as they are unaffiliated and as a newcomer, the vendor might let his guard down.

After the Traveler and Paimon managed to settle the Crystallized Marrow issue with the Chamber of Commerce and the Kanjou Commission, Thoma explains that he is actually an assistant to the Kamisato Clan, and his job is to help the clan's eldest daughter. , Kamisato Ayaka, Princess Garza. Ayaka has heard of the Traveler's exploits and awaits his arrival, hoping to do something against the Visions Capture Decree. But he is not interested in helping, making it clear that he only wants to see the Shogun Raiden to see if he knows anything about his brother / sister. Thoma understands their decision and agrees to help them meet Archon Electro, but asks them to meet at the Komore Teahouse anyway, but the duo realize that they cannot leave Ritou without a pass, realizing that she is one. Thoma test.

Paimon suggests that they head to Kanjou's office to meet with the Commissioner, Hiiragi Shinsuke, he leaves and notices the Traveler. Shinsuke, agreed to help but after completing an excruciating request; until the Traveler sees a woman behind him who nods and tells Hiiragi that they would consider the offer. As they left the office, they secretly received a letter from Miss Chisato asking that they come to see her on the sly. When they finally meet with Chisato, she confesses that if they can help her deliver a letter to Kujou Kamaji of the Tenryou Commission, and that in return she will help them get out of Ritou. He further reveals to them that a few days before their arrival, an arrogant-looking woman arrived and conspired with Shinsuke to keep the Traveler in Ritou. The next day, Chisato heads to a supply convoy and uses his position to force the two escort guards to accept the Traveler as their bodyguard. Along the way, they fight the bandits, and upon reaching the destination, Chisato returns to Ritou, wishing them luck and reminding them that they must take the letter to Kamaji to obtain his permission.

Upon arriving at the Tea House, the duo are greeted by Thoma, who plays a prank on them by pretending to be Taroumaru, the establishment's dog. Thoma apologizes for Ritou's test as it was necessary to see if they would have the courage to "face the lightning next to them". Seeing their determination, Thoma promises to take them to Hacienda Kamisato but first asks them to accompany him to the Statue of the Omnipresent Goddess, which is still under construction. There, Thoma explains how the Shogun declared the Visions Capture Decree, ordering the Tenryou Commission to confiscate each of them and embed them in the statue, as a symbol of Inazuma's eternity. The Traveler touches the statue and suffers a headache upon hearing the people's ambitions, surprising Thoma and Paimon. Later the group arrives at Hacienda Kamisato, where Ayaka anticipated their arrival. She wants the Traveler to help in the fight against the Shogun, but he has no interest in the conflict, so he refuses. Ayaka accepts their decision and promises to take them to the Shogun, but first they have to visit three people who had their Vision confiscated.

The Traveler and Paimon are going to visit these people confiscated from their Visions. From a man who has had trouble remembering why he stayed in a village for so long, to a samurai who had no idea what he was doing. After having dealt with the two affected people, they go to the last one, a sword master who is also in the city. Outside the dojo, the duo meet two disciples concerned for their sensei's well-being. The Traveler deceives them by saying that he had come to learn from the teacher, but when he saw the disciples so worried he came to see what was happening. the disciples apologize, stating that with all the recent problems they have, they have been on high alert. They believe that their sensei, Domon, is possessed, and when they took away his Vision, his condition worsened. Therefore, they have hired the Miko of the Narukami Grand Shrine to exorcise the demon that possesses it.

While the exorcism is underway, Paimon spots a suspicious person nearby and the Traveler pursues them. The man is shocked that they caught up with him so quickly, believing that Domon had improved his skills in recent years. He reveals himself to be Anzai, his sensei's oldest disciple in the art until Domon surpassed him and his master. When he heard that Domon had lost his mind, he returned to see if the rumors were true; To his surprise, Domon called out to him. He then tells them to return to the dojo as he suspects that the ritual is about to end. The exorcism is over, but the Miko hadn't sensed that any demons possessed Domon. However, she is unsure whether another demon form has possessed him and tells them that the High Priestess, Yae Miko, has become aware of the unusual case. She tells them to come to the sanctuary tomorrow to sort this out. At the shrine, Yae inspects Domon and claims that he is not possessed, much to the surprise of the disciples. The Vision gave Domon immense ambitions, and when it seized him, the fact that it was taken from him had destroyed the ambitions of his past actions, making him haunted. Anzai then walks in, to Domon's surprise, and tells him that she had accepted the fact that her ambitions were gone and had "passed them on" to Domon. Now that Domon's ambitions are gone, he urges them to pass them on to his disciples, who are still willing to learn from him. Domon finally realizes the meaning behind Anzai's words and vows to move on, thanking Yae for his help with his disciples before leaving. Later, Yae talks to the Traveler, having anticipated his arrival, albeit prematurely; However, she mysteriously claims that she has high expectations for them and that they better not disappoint her. Paimon then suggests that they go back to Ayaka.

Ayaka introduces herself in person this time and explains the reasoning for why she sent them with three former Vision bearers. Seeing the suffering firsthand, the Traveler finally decides to help. It is then that Ayaka explains about the actions of the resistance. One of his operations, the creation of false visions, was stopped when the craftsman responsible for making them, Master Masakatsu, was arrested. Ayaka wishes to take him out, but cannot risk herself or Thoma to lead the operation, due to her position. Therefore, the Traveler is the one who will do the job of getting him out of the commissary. She states that there will be more people willing to help and sends them to the Naganohara Pyrotechnics store.

There, they find members of the Tenryou Commission threatening a Vision bearer. Before the Traveler can intervene, a girl catches his eye. Paimon scolds her for not interfering while the samurai take the Vision, but in reality it was all a hoax, as that Vision was false. The girl's name is Yoimiya, who is known to the people of Inazuma for her fireworks; Despite this, he helps Vision bearers avoid commission confiscation thanks to Masakatsu's craftsmanship. After clarifying this, Yoimiya learns that the Traveler and Paimon were sent by Kamisato Ayaka to get Masakatsu out, so they decide to go to the police station to free him.

Upon reaching the police station, the Traveler, Paimon and Yoimiya enter through a back door, in which Yoimya leaves her "gift" in case something goes wrong. The three eventually make it to the main holding cell where the guards are torturing Masakatsu. But before they can do anything else, a woman enters. It is Kujou Sara, the General of the Tenryou Commission, who scolds the guards for torturing Masakatsu. He suddenly hears Yoimiya's footsteps and orders the guards to investigate, but Yoimiya then throws her "gift" to distract the guards while they rescue Masakatsu. Sara sees them on the spot, but lets them go because she knows Masakatsu needs urgent attention, but warns them that she will bring the craftsman back when he recovers. Yoimiya and Masakatsu thank the Traveler and Paimon, who then return to the teahouse to inform Ayaka of the good news. Thoma also claims that the Tenryou Commission has been entrusted with a kind of "ceremony" and suggests that they spend the next few days relaxing, which Ayaka accepts, and after having a "game" of shabu shabu, the group part ways.

The next day, after the game of shabu shabu, the Traveler and Paimon decide to return to the Komore Teahouse. When they enter they think that Thoma is trying once more to play a joke on them; however, they realize that it is not when Ayaka walks in and asks if they have seen it. Responding with no, Ayaka confirms her fears; according to her, Thoma may have been captured by the Tenryou Commission. She explains that Thoma would be the 100th victim of the Visions Capture Decree. Ayaka tries to go herself, but the Traveler and Paimon stop her, saying that doing so would make her and the entire Yashiro Commission enemies of the Shogun Raiden. Therefore, they offer to go save Thoma themselves.

The Traveler arrives at the ceremony in time to see Thoma, but also the Shogun Raiden in person. Shogun Raiden pulls the Vision out of Thoma, but before he could embed it into the statue, the Traveler intercepts it and grabs it, hitting the two guards holding Thoma down in the process. The Shogun is impressed by their ability to manipulate items without a Vision and drags them to an alternate realm for battle, using it for "verification" purposes. Despite the Traveler's effort, the Shogun's sheer strength leaves him incapacitated when the realm around them disappears. Paimon tries to make the Traveler react, and in that the Shogun is about to kill the Traveler using the Blade of Empty Thought, but before she can deliver the killing blow, Thoma breaks free of his bonds and throws a spear at him. nearby, forcing her to cancel the attack, generating a massive blast that sends the Traveler and Paimon flying towards Thoma, who catches them, and then they flee. The guards wonder who the Traveler was, but the Shogun issues an arrest warrant for the two, indicating that next time he will end the root problem.

At a considerable distance from the city, Thoma tells the duo that they will have to hide for a good period of time and that they must take the next step themselves. He suggests that they find the Sangonomiya Resistance, an organization founded by Sangonomiya Kokomi, the Divine Priestess of Watatsumi Island, whose members are people who lost or fear losing their Visione. Thoma believes that it is the best option to accept them after the arrest warrant that will surely be declared to them soon, he also admits that the Yashiro Commission is not on good terms with the resistance, but the Traveler, being a unique outlier, should be able to convince them. Since he's not sure where the resistance may be, he suggests they gather information along the way and wish them luck. After saying goodbye. the Traveler and Paimon decide to meet the resistance, starting at Tatarasuna. Along the way, they hear a couple of Shogunate soldiers saying that the resistance is being pushed near the Musoujin Gorge. Paimon suggests that they verify the information before making sure the resistance is based in the gorge. Continuing on, they meet a couple of travelers named Sakamoto and Jiichirou. Sakamoto wishes to go to Higi Village, believing it to be safer than the war zone, while Jiichirou had just been to Nazuchi Beach, complaining that it was complete chaos there. Paimon then suggests that they check out the beach.

Upon arrival, they see a resistance soldier who is being attacked by the soldiers of the Shogunate. After confronting them and rescuing the resistance soldier, he introduces himself as Teppei of the Gobio Squad. He explains that the Resistance General, Gorou, is looking for like-minded people, and that the Traveler's presence would be an aid to the resistance as they can use the items without a Vision. Teppei then explains that the Shogun's goal is Eternity, and as such, they enlist the help of Kujou Sara, who controls an exceptionally strong force. Upon arriving at the camp, Teppei introduces the Traveler to Gorou, and tells him how they saved him and used the items without a Vision. Gorou asks them if they are sure they want to join in, as they will have to sacrifice their lives if necessary. The Traveler tells him about the Visions Capture Ceremony, in which Gorou claims that he heard there was a disturbance in the ceremony despite the presence of the Shogun Raiden. They then tell him that they were the ones who did it, leaving Gorou surprised, he also remembers a reward document from a defeated Shogunate samurai that matches the description of the arrest warrant, so he welcomes them to his ranks.

Teppei offers to introduce the Traveler to the Resistance camp, and after doing various activities with stamina to demonstrate his commitment, Teppei insists the Vaijero to be in the front line to prove his worth in battle, as all members know the risks they face. The Traveler and Teppei go to report to Gorou, but he is nowhere to be found. At that moment Kaida arrives, who informs them that they have just learned that there is a huge army of the Shogunate led by Sara that is advancing towards the main front, which attracted Gorou's attention. worried that the resistance will be defeated and will have to retreat once more, causing morale to drain even more. The Traveler and Teppei offer to come forward to help in any way possible. In the area are the Shogunate and the Resistance, with Sara complaining that the resistance leader has been causing the Shogun a lot of trouble. She offers Gorou a deal; Knowing that the Traveler has taken refuge in the resistance, he states that he will order a ceasefire if the Resistance hands over the Traveler to him, but Gorou refuses, without intending to betray one of his own.

When the Traveler arrives, Sara recognizes them immediately and applauds them for their bravery. She offers a deal for the Traveler; represent the resistance in a fight of honor. Gorou explains that both sides choose their best warriors for a single combat, and victory could be a major boost to the morale of the weaker side. Despite Gorou's insistence that he is trying to capture them, the Traveler accepts his offer. Instead of facing them head-on, Sara makes them fight some Shogunate soldiers, whom they all defeat. Sara is impressed by his strength and concludes the duel, starting the real battle. The Shogunate forces inflict heavy casualties against the resistance, much to Gorou's frustration when he orders them to hold the line. In the middle of the battle, bubbles of water appear, indicating the arrival of Sangonomiya Kokomi. With a large group of mercenaries, along with Beidou and Kazuha, the new reinforcements ease the pressure on the battlefield and turn the tide. Sara, frustrated, orders the Shogunate forces to withdraw.

Kokomi introduces herself to the Traveler, admitting that she did not expect them to join the resistance, and asks the Traveler about his current plans. Having no immediate plan of action, Kokomi requests to continue the conversation at the Sangonomiya Shrine. Teppei offers to come, as he knows Watatsumi Island very well. She informs Gorou that she is not done with her plans yet, but assures him that the mercenaries and Kaedehara Kazuha will remain in the camp to discourage future attacks from the Shogunate, she also tells the Traveler that she will be waiting for them on Watatsumi Island and that she will be waiting for him. will inform Teppei when they are ready.

    Character story 1

A boy and a girl stood in the midst of the tumult, under an unknown sky. They were a pair of twins traveling, passing through countless worlds during your journey. Descending to a continent called Teyvat, he hoped he could enjoy his time here.

But when you woke up among the shooting stars, you saw the world in confusion, a cataclysm sweeping the earth ...

You tried to leave this place and go to the next world, but then an Unknown Goddess stood before you, blocking the way. This deity was flawless, floating above a world of chaos.

    Looking at you.

The god took your only relative, and you were sealed and thrown into a deep sleep full of nightmares ...

When you woke up, the world changed. The flames of war no longer burned and there was nothing left that looked familiar.

How long have you been asleep? You had no answers.

So you started a lonely journey, in search of the deity you had once seen ...

    Character story 2

After that, you met Paimon and you wandered together for some time. You learned that this world has seven deities that rule the seven nations like the Seven Archons.

His first stop was the free city of wine and song, Mondstadt, a city built by Archon Anemo. When he entered Mondstadt as an outsider, he was, like the other nations, beset on both sides by human and non-human threats.

The non-human threat was made up of the confederacy known as the Order of the Abyss. The human threat, on the other hand, arose from the ambition of the Tsarina, goddess of Snezhnaya.

The Order of the Abyss had corrupted an ally of Archon Anemo, the Eastern Dragon of the Four Winds of Mondstadt, Dvalin.

These threats from without and within prompted the return of Archon Anemo, who took the form of a bard and joined you on your journey to save the dragon.

However, there was something then that you did not see, because when the dragon fell into the Abyss, a certain figure was reflected in its eyes ...

He who rules the Abyss ...

(He / She) had once traveled with you, and once you had crossed many worlds together.

    Vision

When faced with circumstances they cannot control, humans often lament their helplessness.

But if a person is found to have higher ambition even when his life reaches such a desperate turning point, then the gods will look upon him with favor.

This favor is Vision, an external magical focus bestowed upon those who have been recognized by the gods and which they can use to channel elemental power.

Celestia is the realm of the gods, and the bearers of Visions walk the earth. When they leave this world, the elect will ascend.

After coming to this world, you often hear people talking about such things.

You, for your part, will never be able to receive a Vision, because an extraterrestrial life form does not belong ...

Is it wise to allow the ambition of a moment to dominate your whole life?

During your journey through many worlds, you have had to consider many thought-provoking questions that require prolonged consideration ...

    Change history

Version 2.1 Adjusted the light effect of Lumina the Traveler's outfit when she has not yet absorbed any elements. Version 1.0 Viajero was added to the game.

    Curiosities

    • Throughout various videos on Genshin Impact's official Youtube channel, it is implied that "Ether should be the Traveler in the officer, while Lumina becomes the lost sister." In any case, an official statement of the aforementioned has not been issued, despite the fact that the director and the voice actors of the game confirmed that it does not matter which character you choose because exactly the same thing happens only that the roles are reversed.
    • The Traveler has recollections of seeing Khaenri'ah during its destruction, implying that it is at least 500 years old.
    • According to the Chinese, Japanese, and Korean pronouns that the twins use to address each other in the opening scene and in subsequent interactions, Ether is the older brother and Lumina is the youngest.
    • Although the Traveler does not possess a Vision, he can still use the elemental powers of the Archons.
      • There is a visual indicator for which item the player is currently tuned to; The player's clothing will glow with the color of whatever item they are borrowing power from.

    Etymology

    • The word "Ether" is the name of the fifth element in ancient and medieval science, which fills the universe beyond the terrestrial sphere, and it is the same case with "Aether", which is the name in English.
      • In Chinese, Japanese and Korean, its name is 空 "Sky (Sky), Air (Air), Void (Empty)". In Buddhism, this word is used to denote the concept of Śūnyatā, which has multiple meanings but is generally related to the lack of existence or intrinsic and permanent nature.
        • In the Japanese Godai philosophy of the five elements, which is based on both Buddhism and the Chinese Wuxing elements, the Void is the highest of them.
    • The words "Lumina" and "Lumine" are of Latin origin and mean "Light". In the Chinese version, 荧 "Yíng" means "Shining" or "Bright".

    Vision

Celestia is the realm of the gods, and the bearers of Visions walk the earth. When they leave this world, the elect will ascend.

After coming to this world, you often hear people talking about such things.

You, for your part, will never be able to receive a Vision, because an extraterrestrial life form does not belong ...

Is it wise to allow the ambition of a moment to dominate your whole life?

During your journey through many worlds, you have had to consider many thought-provoking questions that require prolonged consideration ...
