HR greatsword swords, also known simply as jaw-dropping, are one of the five types of weapons that the characters can use in Genshin Impact. This type of sword limits the wielder by slowing down their attacks compared to other melee weapons, such as swords and spears, but they do much more damage per hit. Greatswords also have a damage bonus when breaking Geo items, such as a monster's shield.
Greatswords have two forms of attack:
- Normal attack: A chain of normal greatsword attacks typically consists of 4-5 slow but powerful broad attacks.
- Charged attack: Greatsword users perform a top hook before making multiple attacks in a row that continually drains their stamina. Ends with a powerful slash when the character runs out of stamina and reaches the maximum duration; this can also be caused by releasing the attack button.
