Profile
A wandering samurai from Inazuma currently staying with Liyue's Crux Meridianam Fleet. The heart of this kind and free young man contains many burdens from the past.
Appearance
Kaedehara Kazuha is a light-skinned young man. Her hair is medium length, part of it tied in a ponytail, and platinum blonde, apart from a red-orange streak above her right eye. His eyes are red with a little yellow on the underside.
His outfit has maple leaf patterns that are the hallmark of his wandering samurai outfit. It consists of a gray shirt and brown pants with a black drape that covers the left half of his body with his Vision Anemo nailed behind. He has a samurai shoulder plate over his left shoulder and his right hand is wrapped in bandages, presumably to give him additional grip and strength. He wears red pants with a maple leaf design and black sandals with dark red stockings and black knee pads that cover from the knees almost all the way to the feet.
Personality
According to Beidou, Kaedehara Kazuha is a person who occasionally likes to talk a lot. Kaedehara Kazuha likes to write haikus during her free time. Because Beidou took him in when he was running away from Inazuma, he is grateful to her.
Compared to the other clans of Inazuma, Kaedehara Kazuha prefers to go out and travel rather than stay at home, something she was able to do after taking over her clan's home due to lack of wealth. The time you spend outdoors puts you in tune with nature and the wind, being able to "hear" and "smell" everything around you with absolute clarity. This allows you to sense danger, read people, and locate them in an instant, no matter how well they try to hide it. Because of this, he prefers calm weather and never stays in one area too long, having trouble sleeping for the former and his abilities stagnant for the latter.
Perhaps due to her affiliation to the Anemo element, Kaedehara Kazuha firmly believes in the concept of freedom, believing that everyone is entitled to their hopes and dreams and that no one has the right to take them, not even a god; that is why he opposes the Shogun Raiden and those who support her. Despite this, he also makes it clear that he recognizes the prowess of strong fighters, as he knows that his friend's duel was honorable and that the Shogun's conduct in killing him was justified.
As a result of traveling all over Teyvat, Kaedehara Kazuha is particularly fond of grilled fish and takes the time to finish meals slowly. While he is not particularly picky about what he eats, he does not like rushed meals.
History
A wandering samurai from Inazuma currently staying with Liyue's Crux Meridianam Fleet. The heart of this kind and free young man contains his many burdens from the past.
Upon first seeing Kaedehara Kazuha, most people think that he is nothing more than a trainee sailor from the Crux Meridianam Fleet.
At the end of the day, he is a really calm person, he loves to recite poetry when he has free time and, when talking to others, he always maintains a calm expression. No one would think that he is actually a dangerous fugitive on the Inazuma shogunate's Most Wanted list.
Not even Captain Beidou, who is so good at reading people, was able before welcoming him to foresee the incredible skills with the sword of this calm young man and veteran of so many fights.
What's more, no one knows if his real character is the result of all the things he's been through or if he just hides his edge due to his reserved personality.
Character story 1
After so many years sailing the seas, the sailors of the Crux Meridianam war fleet have long become accustomed to having contact with foreigners, and are even proud that there is a sailor from another nation in the Alcor.
The sailor got on the ship when it docked in the Ritou port of Inazuma.
Captain Beidou was friends with that young man, and when she arrived in the fleet, she said to her crew: "This boy is going to stay on the ship for a while, so take care of him, huh?"
The crew trusted Beidou's judgment and liked Inazuma's young man, who possessed extraordinary martial skills and was able to predict the weather, so they agreed to let him get on the ship despite his reluctance to discuss his personal affairs.
However, the crew insisted and always looked for reasons to question him about his life.
"I've heard that the swords they make in Inazuma are amazing and that the more important whoever wields them, the better they wield them. How about your sword skills? Are they good?"
"..."
He always answered these questions with silence.
After several attempts without getting a response, the sailors ended up throwing in the towel.
A few days later, when First Officer Juza expressed his dissatisfaction with the situation, he got a surprising response.
"Hey you, the one from Inazuma, if we don't even know your name, what are the rest of the crew supposed to call you?"
The sailor wiped the sweat from his body with his callused hand and said, "My name is Kaedehara Kazuha and my last name is Kaedehara. I am a wandering samurai who is indebted to you for taking me in. You can call me 'Kaedehara Kazuha.'
Character story 2
Kaedehara Kazuha is not just any person, but the last heir of the Kaedehara, an ancient clan of the Inazuma aristocracy.
In the rich and great city of Inazuma, whose shape resembles a forest of buildings, the Kaedehara were an extremely powerful clan. However, her luck did not last forever, and by the time Kaedehara Kazuha inherited family duty, her family was already facing its precipitous decline.
The then Master Kaedehara Kazuha did not know how to deal with the situation. However, when he had to declare his family bankrupt and his servants abandoned him, he sighed in relief and took the opportunity to become a free and wandering spirit.
His greatest desire had always been to travel through mountains and forests, and since he was little, he appreciated the beauty and authenticity of nature more than anyone else.
Kaedehara Kazuha believed that nature was never silent, but rather conveyed its state of mind through a special language.
When the sound of the wind ceased and all beings fell silent, it was a sign of calm before the sky burst into tears. On the other hand, the splashing waters of the springs heralded a strong commotion from mother earth.
This is precisely the poetic spirit that nature bestowed on Kaedehara Kazuha, who was never a person who craved honor. Now that he no longer had to carry the burden of his family, he could begin his own journey with hardly any carrying.
Like a leaf falling to the ground in a garden, Kaedehara Kazuha followed the direction of the wind to merge with the horizon and begin her own journey.
Character story 3
Every traveler must have certain survival skills and, in the case of Kaedehara Kazuha, her greatest skill is knowing how to interpret the signs of nature.
After leaving the city of Inazuma, he traveled everywhere and saw everything with different eyes. The sky, the earth, the mountains and the sea became his home and every time he heard the sound of the wind and the water, he felt extremely happy.
But what left him most astonished was everything he saw in his wanderings. Thus, stunned, he reached a hill in the south.
It was the beginning of summer and the rains were more abundant, so that the whole ground was turned into a quagmire. Seeing that it was getting dark soon, Kaedehara Kazuha decided to look for somewhere to take shelter from the rain. He looked back and, at the end of the road, he saw a cabin.
At that moment he was accompanied by a traveling merchant whom he had met on the way, who, as soon as he saw the cabin, began to shout effusively: "Look, Kaedehara Kazuha! We have a place to spend the night!"
Kaedehara Kazuha, on the other hand, did not say a word, but listened carefully for a while and finally said: "If you want to know my opinion, I think we better not go in."
The merchant was unwilling to get wet in the rain, so he dumped Kaedehara Kazuha to go to the hut.
When he knocked on the door, he was greeted by a beautiful woman who invited him in for shelter, served him some tea and food, and offered him some blankets.
Perhaps because of how delicious the food was, the merchant became sleepy while he was eating it and fell asleep as soon as he lay down in bed.
When he woke up, it was dawn time. There was no longer a roof over his head and, lighting his face, the sun's rays felt especially blinding. The only one he saw was Kaedehara Kazuha, who was laughing at the merchant disdainfully.
When he wanted to speak, a pile of chewed leaves and mud came out of his mouth. Nor was it covered by any blanket, but by more mud, which was also dirty.
Kaedehara Kazuha laughed and said, "Wherever there is a house, the sound of the wind is softer than usual. On this mountain, the wind sounded the same as always although a hut suddenly appeared before us. In my opinion, the most I'm sure some tanuki will play tricks on you. Anyway, when you walk through nature, you have to pay attention to the sound of the wind and be much more aware of everything. "
Character story 4
Throughout her travels, Kaedehara Kazuha made all kinds of friends. Among them, there was one with whom he had a deeper relationship than with the rest, and with whom he traveled for a time.
However, they both had a different destiny, so they had to part ways midway.
Although they met by chance, they understood each other very well, as if their friendship was predestined. Kaedehara Kazuha thought that despite having to part, maybe they would meet again soon.
Instead, something happened that changed everything: the Shogun issued the Visions Capture Decree, through which she vowed to hunt them all.
All the Visionbearers, including Kaedehara Kazuha, panicked, hid their identity, and went into hiding for a time.
At that moment, Kaedehara Kazuha heard surprising news: someone had challenged the throne to a duel, and that person was none other than Kaedehara Kazuha's friend.
If he was defeated, he would receive the punishment of the Shogun, but even so, he decided to take that great risk to reach the throne and not only defeat the powerful Shogun, but also to show the world how brave he was.
However, declaring the duel before the throne at such a time ... If he lost, there was no doubt that the relentless thunder of the Shogun would engulf his life.
This time, the ever-collected Kaedehara Kazuha could not keep calm and prepared to enter Tenshukaku brandishing his sword. However, when he arrived, it was already too late ...
His sword broke, his Vision turned into a shell, and after fleeing the city, the shogunate placed an arrest warrant against him.
Since then, he was immersed in one fight after another and his life was no longer as calm as before.
Kaedehara Kazuha was not afraid to fight, but the endless fighting made him feel lost.
He didn't regret trying to save his brave friend, nor did he blame him for leaving him alone, but ...
"Is it necessary to fight against others to do justice?"
Character story 5
Currently, Kaedehara Kazuha lives in the Crux Meridianam Fleet as she navigates the oceans.
He does have problems sometimes, of course, but with the help of the crew, those problems are not that difficult to solve.
Sitting on the top of the Alcor while contemplating the vast blue sea gives you enough courage to remember how you felt in that troubled time.
All samurai yearn to have a fervent life and seek the highest honor with the help of their swords, but there are always those who, tempted by desire, turn away from the path of benevolence and justice to sow hatred and terror by wielding their weapon.
"Heaven has given a life and a body to all beings, which are protected by the gods, but they have not done so so that they raise their weapons against each other.
I must not wield the edge of death, but the sword of life.
Throughout our lives, we samurai must protect those principles, and this is mine. "
Thinking about it, Kaedehara Kazuha felt the need to write some inspiring phrases, but just at that moment she heard the shouts of a disgruntled voice:
"Kaedehara Kazuha! Hey! Don't just gawk there on the top looking up at the sky and come down to help us."
"Wow..."
Drake, the ship's helmsman, was calling him.
"Anyway, I'll write those sentences some other time."
Vision Shell
In that fight from the past, his Vision brightened for a brief moment, something that surprised even Kazuha himself.
He began looking everywhere for someone to help him get it once more. What he did not foresee was that, in the end, his Vision would illuminate itself again. At that moment, he felt as if his old friend was helping him from somewhere.
Not only did the Vision shell demonstrate that, it also brought Kazuha many new opportunities. On his journey, he was aided by the resistance army, saved and taken in by Captain Beidou, and he met you, the traveler.
In this world, it is inevitable to have moments of loneliness and feeling lost, but there are also very happy encounters and coincidences.
Life is like a trip down a mountainous road: although some sections are very hard, at some point we will reach the clouds.
Vision
One day in the early morning, Kaedehara Kazuha was walking alone along a narrow path through the dense fog of a mountain.
There was a deathly silence, because neither the beating of wings nor the screeching of insects could be heard.
It seemed that even the waves of the sea were in a deep sleep. The only sound that was very faint was that of the wind. Kaedehara Kazuha stuck her tongue out and felt the heavy, melancholy taste of the air.
He knew it would soon start to rain.
He looked up to see as far as he could see, and then he saw a cloud of smoke and several thatched huts. It seemed that tonight he would have a place to sleep.
Kaedehara Kazuha warned the owner of the huts that it was about to rain, but at first he did not believe him. Then, just at noon, a great waterspout fell.
The gentleman praised the traveler and very politely invited him to stay for the night.
Kaedehara Kazuha, who could feel the helplessness of the night through the window, clutched the blanket she was covering herself with and was lost in thought to the patter of the rain on the leaves of the autumn trees.
He had traveled one island after another since his family lost all their wealth and since he set out on his great journey, so he knew the many difficulties that a traveler had to face.
In Inazuma, to get from one island to another, you usually had to cross the sea. When Kaedehara Kazuha traveled alone, he crossed the sea slowly in a small skiff. If the wind blew in the opposite direction to his own or if he encountered a storm, the journey became more arduous than normal.
However, with heaven and earth as her home and with poetic inspiration as her friend, she could continue to enjoy the journey.
If his heart reached stillness, the rest of the beings would also be calm.
If his heart reached purity, all beings would also be pure.
With his sword and his principles, he could sing fearlessly throughout his journey no matter how rugged the road was.
Satisfied after collecting his thoughts, he was able to sleep very peacefully.
The next day, when he was awakened by the singing of the birds, he saw before himself a luminous Vision.
