History
A great sword crafted from the backbone of a great sea monster. Each vertebra hides a unique story. In the past, sailors adorned the prow of ships with the monster's bones, in order to intimidate the beasts of the depths of the ocean, which envied the inhabitants of the land.
When in the past the waters of the ocean had not yet calmed down, embarking on a sea voyage could be a death sentence. Today's carefree sailor songs, called salomas, were, in times past, goodbye songs that plunged people into bitter silence. In those days, there was a captain who always carried a great sword, and who liked to drink and sing before going on a journey. When people asked him why he did it, he laughed and said: "I know my limits. What harm does a little wine and joy do? When the tide and the wind are favorable ..." He never finished that sentence when I said it. He simply raised his glass and encouraged everyone around him to drink.
At last the day came when the tide and the wind were favorable, and it was possible to hoist the anchors of the clumsy and gigantic ship. It entered the mist of the sea, sailing through dark waves towards the distance of the ocean, which was teeming with sea creatures. Finally, neither the singing captain nor his ship ever returned to the port surrounded by mountains. After several days, the corpse of the sea monster washed ashore, carried by ocean currents and waves. In his wound caused by the great sword, gleaming white bones could be distinguished. However, the blood that must have been shed had already been cleansed by the sea.
"When the tide and the wind are favorable, I will set sail to sea and avenge her, so fascinated by the sound of the waves. So what if I end up dead at the bottom of the sea? So, at least, I can send the salomas that so much liked the depths of the sea where she is. " Today, there are no longer giant creatures emerging from waves and ocean storms. And the custom of adorning the prow of ships with the bones of sea monsters ended up being lost when they became extinct. However, the chilling roar of a storm in the deep sea can still be heard on rare occasions ...
