Superconductor is the Elemental Reaction that is triggered by inflicting Electro on a target that is already affected by Cryo or vice versa. This reaction deals Cryo Damage in the AoE and reduces the Physical Resistance of all enemies in the AoE by 40% for 12 seconds. It can also occur in the environment when Electro is treated with water that was previously frozen by Cryo, shortening the duration of freezing and causing the water underneath to be Electrocharged. However, it does not deal area damage or decrease the defense of nearby enemies. Superconducting will not occur when Cryo is transferred to Electrocharged water. However, using Cryo on an Electrocrystal or Electro on a Mist Flower will also cause Superconductor and deal damage to nearby enemies.
Unlike Whirlwind, Superconductor cannot trigger any more elemental reactions as it does not apply Cryo to targets hit.

Hurt
Damage by Superconductor It is only affected by the level and Elemental Mastery of the character causing the reaction (and the enemy's elemental resistance). It ignores the target's defense stat and the attacker's attack stat, and cannot deal Critical Damage either. [1]
Character level | 1 | 10 | 20 | 30 | 40 | 50 | 60 | 70 | 80 | 90 |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Base Damage | 9 | 17 | 40 | 68 | 104 | 162 | 245 | 383 | 540 | 725 |
The Elemental Mastery bonus and enemy resistances are applied multiplicatively with base damage.
Number of strokes
If an attack triggers multiple superconducting reactions, each enemy will only take a maximum of 2 hits, even if they are in the area of effect for more. [2]
Physical endurance disadvantage
See: ResistanceThe resistance debuff caused by Superconductor is generally a direct deduction of -40% RES to physical damage for 12 seconds, but any additional deduction beyond 0% is halved in effect. For example, inflicting Superconductor on a Guardian of Ruins will reduce their physical resistance from 70% to 30% (70-40), while inflicting Superconductor on a Slimes will reduce their physical RES from 10% to -15% (10-10 = 0, remainder -30 x 0,5 = -15).
The resistance debuff caused by Superconductor is not related to the character's level. A level 10 character and a level 70 character will inflict the same debuff value for causing Superconductor to enemies.
