Profile
A mysterious bard who likes to recite both old poems and trendy new songs. He loves apples, wine and lively environments, hates cheese and is allergic to cats.
It can manifest itself in the form of feathers and wind, probably due to its obsession with light and flying objects.
Appearance
Venti has fair skin, aquamarine eyes, and a slim complexion. She has dark blue hair that borders on black, with short twin braids that fade to an aqua color that glows bright cyan when she casts magic. She wears a white ruffled blouse with a corset-like leather midsection, along with teal shorts with gold embroidery and a matching teal cape attached by a deep blue and gold bow. Venti also wears white stockings with 3 gold diamond shapes along each leg and a beret-like hat with a Cecilia, which is her favorite flower. He carries a wooden lyre with blue strings imbued with the power of Anemo.
Personality
Venti has a rather mischievous attitude and likes rhymes in her speeches, but if she is told to stop, she will stop immediately. He sees a certain value in music to the point where he names his lyre, saying that "every being deserves a name to be invoked and woven into a song." He is also quite bold, shown many times both in the manga and in the game, without fear of insulting or ignoring the supposedly powerful.
Venti enjoys wandering around Mondstadt playing songs for its people, most of whom are unaware of his true identity as Archon Anemo. He is much loved for his musical talent, having won the title of "Mondstadt's Most Popular Bard" three times. Venti is also an avid drinker of alcoholic beverages, such as Dandelion Wine, and has a high tolerance for alcohol. It is also good with apple cider. However, to his disdain, the form he takes makes most bartenders see him as a minor, but he avoids this by telling people to bring him drinks in exchange for his performances. For unknown reasons, he is deadly allergic to cats and will not act unless he is sure there are none around.
He also enjoys apples, considering them the fruit of the gods, and jokingly states that he would refuse to go to Celestia even if invited because their apples are tasteless and the water fetid, which would make cider bad. He doesn't like melted cheese, claiming it's a smelly, sticky, slimy mess.
Despite his naive personality as Venti, Archon Anemo himself names him as a totally different part of himself: "That's it from Archon Anemo's warnings! Back to Venti's time!" When Venti assumes his personality as the Archon of the Wind, he speaks wisely and quite philosophically, guiding the Traveler, as he guided Mondstadt in its early days.
History
An unknown bard that appeared out of nowhere. Sometimes he sings outdated songs, but also new ones that no one has heard of.
He likes apples and vivid environments, but he hates cheese and anything sticky.
When channeling Anemo elements, you usually do it with stretched feather shapes, simply because you like things that appear light.
Character story 1
As a bard who just moved to Mondstadt just a few months ago, Venti's income is much less than other bards who have been in Mondstadt for a long time. However, whenever Mora earns enough from her performances, she runs to the taverns in town.
However, because he physically appears to be a minor, he can never buy alcohol.
The first time they rejected him, he muttered something like this:
"There were no such rules the last time I was here ...". When he realized that this rule applied to every tavern in town, something occurred to him ...
He developed the ability to drink at work, that is, while acting. He urged his audience to buy him a drink if they liked his performances instead of giving him Blackberries.
This unique ability made him quite popular in Mondstadt.
However, he couldn't help sneezing if a cat approached him ...
If, by any chance, you were holding a mug with your teeth at the time ... well, it goes without saying what a mess it would cause.
Therefore, Venti always chooses places away from cats when performing.
Still, stray cats adore it.
Character story 2
There is a large oak tree in the center of Windrise that is said to have sprouted when Vennessa ascended to the heavens millennia ago.
During the last months, travelers who rested by the great trees sometimes heard a child singing the stories of Barbatos, Archon Anemo.
Unlike most of the deities who rule the neighboring kingdoms, Barbatos has long since left Mondstadt. What remains of him is just an unrecognizable face on the Statue of Seven. Fortunately, his past works still remain in books and epics, sung and transmitted by the bards.
What Venti sings about Barbatos are some strange antics and adventures, such as the theft of the God Cryo's scepter and the return of the Hilichurl stick ...
However, those who worship Barbatos are not content with such blasphemies. When faced with his accusations, Venti always shows a shred of guilt by answering:
"How do you know that's not true?"
That's how it is; not even the most devout nuns would know what really happened to Barbatos millennia ago. Only Venti knows that what he sings under that mysterious smile ...
it really is made up.
Well, it's the alcohol to blame.
Character story 3
2600 years ago, the War of the Archons had not yet come to an end, and the world had not yet come under the rule of The Seven.
In those days, the city called "Mondstadt" was surrounded on all sides by impenetrable winds even for birds. The incessant howl of the wind ground the earth and the rock of that place into fine dust.
The Wind Lord who lived in his tall tower was Decarabian, God of the Tempest. He looked down at his subjects, who bowed before him amid the unceasing wind and, believing them submissive, thought it good.
In those days, Venti was but a breath of the thousand winds that raged through the northern lands.
Who would later be known as "Barbatos" was nothing more than a small elemental spirit, without a hint of divine dignity, a breeze that brought small changes at best, or small seeds of hope.
In the Mondstadt of old, Venti met a young man who could play the lyre and longed to write the greatest poem of all.
"I wish to see the birds fly," said the young man, who had never seen the blue sky, the eagles or the green grass, in a voice almost completely drowned out by the wind.
"Friend, why don't you come with me?"
Character story 4
The elemental being Venti obtained the feather of an eagle for the boy who lived in a city surrounded by storms and who had never seen a bird in his life.
Then the war for freedom broke out in Mondstadt.
With the pen hidden in his breast pocket, Venti watched the eccentric ruler fall in the middle of the revolt along with his friend.
The tyrant believed that he had given his subjects a city free from the cold, and he believed that the people had loved him as he loved her.
However, despite the victory, Venti could never give that feather to the boy, because he had fallen in battle fighting for poetry, the heavens and the birds, as well as for the people who, like him, had lived inside. of the storm wall.
With the collapse of the divine throne, a new god was born. Barbatos, Archon Anemo, felt power flow into himself.
The way he first used that power was to reshape his own body to look like that boy.
He did so because only with a human form could he play the lyre so longed for by the young man.
By touching its strings, the ice and snow spread across the world and the mountains parted with a divine wind.
He made Mondstadt a free city, a nation without a king.
He believed that in the future it would become a better place.
"Surely, he too would have wanted to live in that place."
Thus, a new era began for Mondstadt.
Character story 5
Not everything in Mondstadt is the work of Archon Anemo.
Now, I'll sing you a song of praise to beauty:
We thank the West Wind,
For caressing the flowers of the flowery spring.
Finches, ducks, rabbits and wild boars,
The rebirth of Mondstadt allows them to prosper.
In summer the lion walks across the plains,
There are no more words of praise than this song.
The sweat on the forehead makes the wine cold,
And her mane like the sun warms the environment.
The mouths of the mountains and the gorges lie like capricious drunks,
But the East Wind doesn't care, because he doesn't walk, he flies!
Fly to the height of the fruit trees,
And with his wings he gathers the crops.
The North Wind sleeps in the silent forest,
While the wolves pass by.
But no one has seen them, because the wind knows that man is not interested in winter.
And Archon Anemo knows that his dream will be a warm dream.
Like the passage of time, the wind will never stop.
The credit for this work was mine, of course.
For, without the bards, who would spread the legends?
"Where the wind doesn't blow"
After 1 years, Mondstadt's "freedom" hit rock bottom.
Barbatos did not want to become a tyrant, so he fled, while those whom he blessed with freedom ended up being the tyrants.
The aristocracy ruled Mondstadt with cruelty, enslaved the people and ignored the cries of oppressed coughs.
1 years later, Archon Anemo returned to the Capital of Freedom, where he heard the desperate cries of the slave Vennessa, with whom he instigated the revolt that overthrew the aristocracy.
At least, that's the official Mondstadt story.
However, there is a point to be made about it: it was the heroine Vennessa who united all of Mondstadt to rebel, but what made many of the soldiers decide to switch to their side was a "betrayal against the wind."
It was discovered that a treaty had been secretly signed that betrayed the entire city.
The aristocracy had abandoned the wind and sold Mondstadt to Archon Geo of the neighboring nation.
At the end of the treaty, an insignia was engraved that no one except the deity who created it could imitate: the name "Rex Lapis."
The soldiers who oppressed the slaves were shocked to learn that they too were going to become slaves in a foreign land.
News of the conflict spread like a great fire consuming the aristocracy. It was many years later that historians discovered that this treatise was false.
Venti reportedly sometimes practiced the art of forgery to play tricks on Archon Geo, but never managed to fool the Patron of Wealth and Contracts. His abilities were never of use until several hundred years later.
What a happy coincidence.
Vision
The Seven Archons do not need Visions, as they already have great power.
However, Barbatos loved the mortal world and wanted to roam Mondstadt more freely as "Venti", so he created a glass ornament much like the Visions worn by those chosen by the gods.
The Mimic has no special abilities, nor is Venti dependent on it to channel her elemental power.
However, since Venti does not carry Der Himmel, the Sacred Lyre, and as he was too lazy to carry a normal lyre, he gave his False Vision the ability to become the wooden lyre "Fehling".
Birthday...
Someone once told me that you are supposed to have cake on your birthday ... soooo! Here's your birthday cake: it's apple! Take a spoon. The cake didn't rise high enough in the oven, which is why it looks more like an apple muffin ... Ugh, the baking is really tricky!

Version 1.5 Added "About Eula ..." dialog. Version 1.0 Winds was added to the game.Curiosities
- Venti is one of the few currently playable characters who recognizes (or even seems aware) that the Traveler is from another world, presumably due to his status as an Archon.
- Venti assumed the form of the Nameless Bard after gaining his Archon powers, making her his main appearance in memory of his death.
- As she uses her elemental and ultimate ability, the ends of her braids light up a bit.
- Venti bears a striking physical resemblance to Wendy, the Herrscher of Wind in Honkai Impact 3rd, another of miHoYo's games.
Etymology
- Its name is based on the Latin word Ventī, which means "Winds".
- Venti comes from the equivalent of the Anemoi (Greek Wind Gods) in Roman mythology.
